Program Description
As a participant in our International Internship Program, you will ideally work with a consulting team for 8 to 12 weeks. You will either work in the European country of your choosing or will be a member of an international consulting team. You will spend four days a week at one of our clients and one day in the McKinsey office in your home country.
You will be given responsibility for small, clearly-defined aspects of your project from the very first day. Accordingly, you will be adding real value – not simply supporting others.
We will make every effort to take your individual preferences into consideration when choosing the project on which you will work.
An international internship at McKinsey can be of benefit to you in your field and personally as well, considering the special nature of this type of experience abroad. As an intern, you can deepen your understanding of the industries related to your project and gain exposure to numerous analytical problem-solving tools. Working closely in trusting cooperation with a team and receiving continual intensive feedback from your colleagues will provide you with important personal impulses.
You will receive an extensive assessment upon completion of your internship. It is not uncommon for excellent interns who are close to finishing their degree program to receive an offer to join McKinsey as a consultant. If you have completed your internship successfully and are not very close to graduating, we will certainly stay in contact with you.
